NO! You don't switch earths, only switch actives! You probably needed a bigger relay or fuse if yours kept blowing. Never switch earths lol.

most things switch earth.

injectors, coils, headlights, heater fan - just to name a few.

nothing wrong with switching earths at all.


and check the date of posts before posting - its 4 years old.
