    Hey,

Which super charger brand is the best vortec, raptor etc.
To make the engine tough so i never blow my engine with a charger, what should i be changing, example lifters, pistons, rings, springs etc
And also changing the coil pack, lead an spark plug will that make more horsepower.

    Thanks for any help....................:):yeah:

Well If you want it to last with more boost you will want forged pistons, shot peened crank and pushrods, lower the compression and while your at it with the motor apart you might as well balance and blueprint it. (blue printing just removing all the slags and dags from the poor block casting from factory) Balancing is making all the pistons weigh the same for increased balance. You should get an L67 (factory supercharged engine) to work on if your really serious tho.

    and it will haul ass

You saying replace the engine, with the factory supercharger, but that will cost an arm an a leg

it would cost less than supercharging your current engine. to do it right there are numerous things that need replacing and you would save yourself alot of hassle by sourcing a L67 to work with.

brand new from holden, $6500....or shop around wreckers and such and try to find a second hand one. they arent a particularly easy engine to come across so you might be looking for a while (then again, you might find one straight away).
