So I must've been right about something?

And trust me... when you have two people who always have to have the last word... it's never over, just put on pause hehe...gives a smile for a few minutes as I'm sure it does for him also before real life calls again

Ney Tasmaniak, could you recommend a good site for someone to learn about car audio? I'm just starting to get into car audio and would like to be able to access info about wiring, amps, subs, etc. Thanks.

Yep, nic92 is right. mobileelectronics is a great resource although if you a COMPLETE newcomer you may find the site a little unforgiving and leave a bad taste in your mouth but definetly a MAJOR resource.

Failing that, a good start for the complete newcomer is Basic Car Audio Electronics starts from the beginning, which will bore the crap out of you but definetly needed to know.

The tutorial section of MEA is very informative. Be careful of the brand bias over there though :)

Being completely honest, I had no idea that they had a tutorial section. If it gets the StoneX thumbs up then it would be safe to say that it would get my thumbs up also.

In regards to brand biasing, that was one of the biggest reasons I left years ago. Also because every answer given to people often relied on the op having a really fat wallet or there was no answer. I don't believe things have changed but that's based purely on just the occasional glance from time to time.regardless of my opinion.Still a valuable resource obviously evident by the sheer size of the forum. Although I do wish it was still a private venture instead of being owned by that company intent on owning as many forums as possible....they know who they are.
