ok im going to put some high quality splits in the front get them rewired as the ve wires suck, same with some coax speakers in the back....

also going to put a 12 inch sub in the boot not too fussed over the sub as just want a lil extra bass not a huge amount

going to get an amp that i can wire straight from the head unit as no rcas on the ve sv6 head unit as far as i kno and you cant really remove the headunit as nothing will fit in that space as far as i kno as well....

has anyone done anything similar and how did they go about it... thanks:)

    Hey Dude,
If you are serious about upgrading your VE's stereo, a product from a company like AudioControl might be your best bet. I have seen these installed in BMW's etc, with awsome results. Some models, for example the LC7, even have MP3 input capabilities.Try Line Output Converter with Auxiliary Input - LC7

Your best bet would be to go and have a chat to your local car audio installation professional ;)

PHREDDY, have you started playing with the VE yet mate?

Quoted from Walkinshaw - "Designed specifically for Walkinshaw Performance by Rockford Fosgate this upgrade increases the original 230 watts to 1000 watts of audiophile excellence."

Mate all it is is an enclosed sub and some replacement coaxials for the front and rear. Nothing you couldn't go out and buy yourself.

You still face the issue of signal quality from the factory integrated source...It most definately would not please any "audiophile" either.
