hey i wanted to put front speakers in my doors, however of course the vp doesn't come with door pods... so i purchased some off of a vs or a vr (found em on Ebay)

and well they arrived so i went to install them

took off my door trims... removed the old pocket thing off the bottom where the new pods are going to go.

put my speakers into those metal housing things and well now im stuck

ive got 2 the stage where i believe i have 2 cut and or drill stuff

im just wondering if anyone could tell me the process i would need to go through to get these vs door pods onto my vp im a bit wary when it comes to cutting up my car :p..

any help would be appreciated ty...

Im pretty sure there is a "how to install VR door pods" in the how to section.

You will have to cut a hole in ur door trim tho to fit the manget in the door.

If i was puttin them on my car, i would have grabbed a VR trim, placed that ontop of my vp trim to get the holes right for where the pods goes n how big of hole has to be cut out of the trim.

But i would check the how to section, im sure someone did up a thread for it.

so the metal housing thingies are also screwed onto my door trim... i dont need to screw anything to the steel?

you will need to drill an extra hole into the door to mount the speaker basket properly. Also, get out the cutters and cut the door trim where the pod sits over it. I think thats about it, just a whole bunch of lining up really.
