Help with vt commy.!

Hi my partner has a series 2 vt 2000 model and he changed his garnish this afternoon. Well that was fine and easy to change he currently has the altezza taillights he had 1 reverse light working until he tried to wire the passenger side he lost all reverse lights and indicators.! Hazard work. Everything else works except them 2... his fuses and everything is fine there not blown. Can someone please shed light on what it could be.? Thanks

Probably worked it out, But what I understand from your written you removed the garnish and wired the white reverse lights into the blinkers am I correct? If so you will need to put diodes on the blinker to stop the reverse from feeding back down the line upsetting the blinkers.

Depending which garnish sometimes you have to split the wires as some garnishes have more thsn others for example the senator lights and garnish
