I need Buick and Buick is a fair bit more exi than L67.. Buick is a lot more than 5L and 5l has more parts.... I can get bolts for $70 but the VRS is close to $250. I have the price written down at work, it may be even more than $250 I can't remember exactly.

Mace have good LIM gaskets for the Eco and L67. AFAIK there are no alloy gaskets available for the Buick. At least when I replaced them a few years back there wasn't. Mace bolts were more exi, the cheapest kit I can find is $70 from Merv Gray Auto parts. The next cheapest was over $100 on eBay.

oof well if you dont need everything in a vrs just get the head bolts new ones come with thread locker on it and the rocker bolts are not relay re-usable so if you can get them do so or just thread lock them in and hope it works

I'm gong performance heads so will need VRS. My rocker bolts are from Mace and AFAIK are not TTY like the factory ones are.

AFAIK Mace no longer sell a VRS for the L27. It's annoying that an engine that was widely used in Commodores is now one of the most expensive VRS" in a standard performance level.... 5L kits can be bought under $100.

I worked out parts alone will be around $600 or more on my L27 plus the heads, which will come down to how much is actually worn to see what the end figure will be.
