I've posted about this before, but just chucking it out there. ANY help would be amazing
98 vt commodore.
Started kicking back and staying in 3rd from overdrive, turn the car off and it would engage overdrive again. (Showing NO codes)
Started showing codes, "transmission slip, and crank" after it showed a code no matter what it would not change to 4th - transmission specialist said no slip and car not commanding overdrive at all
Cleaned the starter motor and replaced battery only for it to stop showing a code and back to the start with it changing back to 3rd but will change to overdrive if I switch it off.
This problem is painful and any idea of problem would be amazing!
