help!

just got myself a vs acclaim and it has cai.. it doesnt seem very big compared to others ive seen! i dunno if u can see very well in tha pic but part of it is squashed down 4 some reason?? my brother suggested stickin a block of wood under it to wedge it up, then screw it in..i dont really like that idea so if you guys can give me any better ones thatd b cool!!

thats normal... its how they r shaped.. i tried 2 push mine open and went 2 far couldnt shut the bonnet

if you want a little more opening use wedges and a heat gun to resize it but as above, be wary that the bonnet should still close, another trick is to cut it a little more open ( 5mm or so )

k thanks guys...i think ill try cuttin it a bit, or just leaving it how it is.
