I'm sure there's an easy explanation but I'm no mechanic especially when it comes to carby engines.

The VH has developed a slight hesitation when accelerating either from a stand still or when taking your foot off the gas and then applying it again.

The car hesitates only when I (re)apply the accelerator for a moment then continues to accelerate like normal.

Any ideas?

Last time I worked on a carbi, the VH was a relatively new car o_O It may simply be time for a carbi refresh as flat spots when going back on accelerator were usually caused by some issue with pump assembly within the carbi ;)

A carbi rebuild kites not expensive and it’s not a difficult thing to do.
