Hey Ive Just Brought My First Holden Ever. Never Thort Id Buy One But There Are 4 Holdens I Like And I Found This One Owner One Cheap. Will Have to upload photos when i bother taking with digicam. 1997 Holden Commodore Calais SeriesII 3.8 S/C Sedan, I was hoping that i could ask someone who has same series model a few questions via MSN Piece in middle east!
cool. my older brother has a red HSV VS 5.0L V8 pritty cool. yeah they drive ok i guess. i want to see a detailed photo of a front mounted intercooler for a start. whats the story with BOV's? can you let of a noise with these s/c's? who does cheapest pully kits?
All seems to be working to me? Or is the problem that you didn't get an answer to your question in less than 12.3 seconds? Welcome, by the way!
welcome to JC. not a bad choice for your first holden. best to post in the VR/VS section for any questions/problems or issues you have with your ride. not many people look at the general sections. as for the intercooler, holden didn't fit one as standard equipment on any s/c commodores so it must have been fitted by a previous owner (post some pics so we can help tell whats been fitted). also, you don't want to run a BOV with these s/c commodores because of the way they measure the air volume using a MAF. if you use a BOV it will upset the PCM (thats the short version) best to check the sponsors section and have a look at the Yella Terra area. there the best people to talk to for upgrades. stay away from FIT, last i've heard there not returning phone calls or emails to people who have paid for goods but never recieved em
The car looks nice (The first one does anyway ), Im still undecided on whether its panel damage or his reflection though
