erm, hadnt thought much about it really. it looks like the old carbon can uses vacuum to open and close the purge valve, so what we will do instead is leave that as normal, and stick the electronic purge (as pictured above) inline.
basically: so itll open on vacuum, and also open on signal and should work normally.

picked up a v8 k-frame today. degreased and pressure washed it.

didnt have an auto trans mount on the shelf so they fab'd one form me today. headed up there tomorrow morning to purchase the conversion kit in person. castlemaine rod shop here i come....

oh and the engine mounts never showed up, theyre held up at australia post facility in sunshine west since wed the 17th and havent moved yet. so if and when they ever arrive ill just credit them back to the rod shop for a refund....

they took me for a fang in this. has their brand charger on it, apparently its 400hp at the wheels (t56). no we didnt get up to 160 kph in a couple seconds.... it never happened

just got the call from my boss. guess what was dumped at the shop door no signature required... the engine mounts that i ordered on dec 9th. im going to send them back for refund after the new year when the mail order rush calms down a bit. the guy at the rod shop said no probs, he attached a note to my bill of sale....
