Hi, my name is murphy
I have just installed a response 6000k high/low beam hid kit for my 2004 holden crewman, the low beam work but when I put highbeam on the low beam turn off, if anyone knows what's going on it will be a big help to me
Cheers Murphy

Did you also install SS headlights with projectors?

What?

Your low beam is low beam. Your high beam is a separate bulb.

If your are mucking around with a HID system not designed for the way the car works, then don’t.

You can’t have a high beam operate on anything but the high beam reflector.

Low beam stays engaged as low beam .

If you remove the high beam globe, and you are using a high/low bulb, that’s just stupid.

But the way the hid two way hid globe works is when in low the bulb is normal but when highbeam is engaged the bulb is sucked in

Yeah, but you are using a HID system designed for something else.
Your car needs to use HID that has separate bulbs for high and low. When high beam is engaged, low beam remains illuminated as well. The reflector for low beam is designed for a lower pointing beam. The high beam reflector is designed to focus the beam higher. Each is not about brighter. It seems you are using what would be a high and low beam globe for an old Corrola or VB Commodore.
