BMW E21 320i, E36 "318IS" coupe
well the positive wire for the hids has to goto a +12v wire on the headlights, and the negative wire on the hids has to goto the ground wire on the headlights. if theyre hooekd the wrong way around, the hids wont work, and both need to be connected, or the hids wont work.

As far as I can tell by your pics;
Red male spade connector on your pic, to plug that goes onto the old globe.
Black male spade connector to earth side of the lights.

This is only my opinion....
Don't blame me if it doesn't work.

you can't fit HID in reflector headlights if you want the same effect just drive with high beams on

now i understand why they sent/located you in frankston .....

HID's should/must be only used in "projector" lights, as these have a cut off lens that don't effect on coming traffic with glare.
Putting them in normal reflector lights will cause an excessive amount of glare to on coming drivers
and can be dangerous.

Oh yer so you just adjust the headlights so they point down or do they still have glare?
