    Hi all,

just wondering where to install a electric trailer brake controller where it will be out of sight but still accessible easily while driving(because will most likely forget to adjust once load is put on or taken off).
I would prefer to mount it permanently but if i cant work out a good spot i may just run the wireing and just plug it in when i need it.
This will be in my vy11 ss crewy.

    Cheers Shane

whatkind of brake unit are you looking for? Redarc do a couple nice compact units that you should look into, only thing is they dont have much adjustabilty as something like the Tekonsha P3.

EBRH is the part number for the compact redarc unit.

Hi all, i ended up getting a tekonsha controller.

Am now looking to hook it all up. The 4 wires i can work out easily. I know from previous work that the wireing from the cab goes out through the underneath the drivers side rear seat. Since the trailer plug has the auxilary and electric brake wires in it i am hopeing that these wires are in the dash area.

Does anyone know if they are factory fitted in the dash area somewhere?

    Cheers Shane
