hey on the weekend i started my car up and noticed this high pitch wining noise.. kinda like that noise people use to have on their phones that apparently people over 25 couldn't here. Its only there when the car is idling or at a constant RPM. I turned the radio off and its still there, turn the radio up or down its still there. I really have no idea wtf it is because it doesn't sound like the car noise coming through the speakers and usually with that the harder you put your foot down the louder it gets. it's only there when the car is at a constant rpm! it's driving me insane haha
no it's got factory speakers and it's not that noise haha i know what that noise sounds like from a bad earth. nothing has changed in the car it just started doing it and won't go away it's driving me insane
it sounds like an electrical squeel it's kinda like when a crt tv or computer monitor makes that high pitch scream if that makes any sense. like a capacitor in the dash is ####ed
I had the same noise through my speakers but I had an amp. Even just on idle it would do it that's why I asked. Mine was fixed through grounding the RCA's properly but that won't help you too much lol. Maybe it's the tweeter making the sound.
if its high pitched, you should be able to get clear idea of where it is coming from by hunting for it with your ear. lower pitches arent as directional, but getting down and dirty at floor level with your door open should give you a better idea of where the noise is coming from. until then, very hard to give advice on what could be causing it.
