gain is not a volume control.

a capacitor will do nothing.

lol i know , the buzzing sound seems to go away when it's down....hmm maybe i should just turn it down :)

Yeah i wasn't too sure on the capasitor..

yeh its anoying my mate has the same prob with his vp it sounds supercharged its sick but can get anoying

GAH! Capacitors do not work that way.

Did you run your power wires down one side and your audio down the opposite side of the car? If not, you should.

Otherwise check all your cabling for both connections, quality and make sure they don't cross power wires.
