he GTS 327 and the GTS 350 were cheap back in the early days of 1968 and 1970.

As a very young bloke, I could have afforded to buy one, I could not have afforded to run and insure it.
It only would have lasted a few years until the tin ants attacked it, and I sold it anyway .............. just like my HK 186S, so nothing lost to regret.

They're only worth $200 to $750
Woops, they're not the real thing :)

I have a couple of cupboards full of those which would be worth $millions if they were 18 times bigger.
One of my descendants will give them to their descendants to play with in the sandpit. :(

Yes my First wage back in 1967 was $15.45 cents. When I become a fully fetched Electrical Tradesmen back in 1972 you can buy a second hand HQ GTS 253 or 308 for around 25,000 miles on the clock for $3500 but at the same time my yearly wage was $12,000 and my First house cost me $18,600.
Yes 3 Monaros for one year wage and 0.6 of a House.
When the last Monaro came from the Holden Factory in 2006 you will be lucky to by one with one years wage and definitely wont be able to buy a house with $12,000

Ah the good Old days. Small Journal 327 pushed into a container by a Bulldozer. If anything cost more than $100 something was very wrong.
