    Hi all

Iv just decided on a set of HM headers for my vs. I decided on the HM ones over others as from everything i have read on this forum and on others, they are great for the driving rev range, which is what i want. I dont need more power up really high, like the pacemakers.
    Also their workshop is local.

What i want to know is how much will they effect my exhaust note? i love my note, its not too loud and it sounds awesome!!! I paid $300 for the sound and i dont want to lose it.

For the power gain is it work going headers or 1.98 ratio rockers? both are around the same price. Both i want to do in the future.

    cheers for comment in advance

the extractors wont really change the exhaust note much, not in a really noticable way anyway - although if your like me im sure you'll hear every subtle difference being that its your car and you hear it everyday.
you can probably expect the extractors to make the note slightly deeper, adding a bit of "throb" to the note, but like i said, not all that noticable.
the rockers would give you more of a performance improvement than the extractors -extractors are more of a stepping stone to creating more power, with the exhaust breathing well other mods will perform better and allow full potential to be realised.
so in other words, getting the rockers without doing the extractors probably wouldnt see the best results from them.

Sweet, thanks for that, iv already got 1.8:1 rockers, i just want more power. So ill do the extractors first.

As for noticing every change, well im a musician so my current note is a Bft to C depending on if its cold or hot. HAHA So ill notice the change if there is one. Its a matter of if im happy with it or not.

Rockers and 2.5 inch together is a good upgrade, the extractors even better, but for rockers and least some sort of exhaust modification will help, extractors or exhaust.
