G'day guys, I've got a weird problem with my vp. I;ve noticed that if i give it a "proper" drive, and a bit of a flogging and then try and drive up a hill that normally it would have no trouble getting up, that the engine will slutter and i will lose pretty much all power. it's like im running out of petrol (and no im not out of petrol ). the temp gauge gets to about half or maybe a little over when it happens. Does any one have any ideas about what could be causing this to happen? I don know that i've got a small crack in a manafold that has been there for over a year, this problem started happening just in the last month or so. Could this be the reason or does someone else know what could be causing it? :bang: Cheers Guys and Girls
could be fuel pump? or maybe no back pressure on the exhust?? wouldnt hurt to upgrade the extractors even if its not the issue, cant hurt ...
Sounds like its runnin a bit hot man. Could be the crank angle sensor or coolant temp sensor maybe. If you have next not much petty in the tank it could also be vapour lock.
