hoist lifting points on a vs

i have just bought a vs series2 equipe. i was looking under the car to see where the lifting points are located so i can lift it on my hoist. i had no problem with the front points, but the location of the rear was confusing. the left rear side was ok, but the right side had some steel tubing, where i thought the hoist pad should go.
there is a small cross beem on either side with a tie down lug welded to it. do you just cut off the lugs and lift the rear of the car here?
i would appreciate any advice

Trolley jack locations should be the same as a hoist so I've attached a scan showing locations for the pads. Good Luck.
