1990 Holden Rodeo keeps losing power and seems to be a vaccuum problem with the automatic choke, when the ute is idling, it idles at 1500rpm. There is a vaccuum operated switch which when you remove the vaccuum plug the rpm drops and runs fine. The adjustable diaghram which oparates that vaccuum switch makes a humming noise.
I have tried adjusting the throttle sensor, checked timing and oxygen sensor.
none of these things have worked so im at a dead end.
Please let me no if you have any ways to stop the ute from losing power.
Also can anyone tell me what does adjusting the vaccuum diaghram achive????!!!!
