Hi fellas, so ive got an old 355 stroker im bringing back to life and im upto deciding if i go for a Single plane highrise or Dual plane highrise inlet manifold. either way it will be a torque power id say. so cam i have has best power between 3000 - 6500rpm. Whats everyone's thoughts?

Tp single are like really big inside....harrop single work better for hipo streeters although come single will happily do the job for mild/hipo stroker.

It really depends on what you're doing with the engine. If you're doing drag racing or burnouts yea single plane but if it's a street car then use the dual plane.

The single plane will make good power up top but lack lower down in the rev range. The dual plane will lack up top but make more power below 4500-5000rpm.

Also I would look at upgrading to alloy heads as you can run more compression and timing on them. Plus they out flow stock heads while maintaining decent port velocities.
