Holden 5L V8 from VT into VK?

Bought myself a 5L V8 and am in the process of rebuilding it. Also picked up a factory 5spd VK. I want to put the 5L into it. Anyone got any experience with this? What parts will I need to change around? EFI or Carby, the engine is EFI currently. All help appreciated cheers.

Vt 304 not easiest or first choice for early girl v8 conversion.

For starters you'll need vb-vs v8 engine brackets & vn-vs headers or extractors & if car is manual steering that will save some headaches in getting it in there with either aftermarket trans member or modifying trimatic item.

Majority of vt gear useless or needs major modding...easiest to source parts off earlier models that bolt straight in.

Hope you got it all complete from airbox/maf to eng/trans/ecu etc.
