I remember 15-17 years ago Holden having a major fall out with Deawoo IIRC. I was helping a bloke on the job at Southern Holden and the topic came up about the **** fight between the two Co's but the manager wasn't allowed to talk about it. The dealership no longer held the Deawoo brand and only sold Holden, Deawoo next door had to become it's own dealership, before closing down altogether.
