Who, in many cases, can't park their battleships for quids. Hubby buys the big, boofy Land cruiser to impress the neighbours, then drives to work in his 500 buck dunger. Wifey struggles to navigate HMAS Land cruiser through the traffic, finds a parking spot and takes ten goes reversing the bloody thing.

Then goes to pilates class at gym and for a double decaf halfcaf latte and chia seed gluten free muffin afterward with other skinny angry mothers, who take 10 minutes to park

...only thing outselling it in it's segment is the Camry - most of those go to fleet sales because they are cheaper.

You can here how the average and disappointment just rolls off your tongue when you say “Cammmryyyyyy” and there it is, outselling an imitation Commodore.

VE Series I SS Ute
I've had a late O2 Camry and it was a really decent car. Had it for a few years and only had two problems, one was a rubbing noise in the rack that CMI fitted a new rack free of charge and it wasn't anything more than an annoying noise. Other thing was machining the front rotors once. OK three things, the front seats were a little hard to my liking; 10hrs in the seat and you started to get a bit sore. In terms of reliability it was damn good and cheap on fuel as it was a 4cyl.

Nice to be in a like minded group where we hate collectively SUV,s and DC utes.

SUV s are for fat people.

DC utes are for guys with small censored.

So you have never owned a DC Ute? Most practical car I have ever owned.

My Triton has given me more smiles than any of my 5 Commodores ever has

The rush, low range trying to get up a decent climb, no Commodore can do that!

Had a HiLux diesel dc for a couple of years company car. Only rush it ever gave me was a 360 in the wet was pretty dangerous in the wet brakes wet roads disaster.
I ll say one positive bout it girlfriend I had then was most impressed by it
No accounting for taste.
But no never owned one. Almost died a few times lately followed new model HiLux with that cloud of acrid stinking white smoke out of the exhaust.
