Holden Caprice WM
Hey everyone, I got my holden caprice WM VE, all of a sudden I noticed the sound skipping from the music, thought It was the cd scratched, changed it, same thing, later realsed the bass was turning on and off, and then after a day, there was no sound completely. I was then told it was the AMPLIFIER, it took me a while to figure it out where it was, asked around and even the guy from holden didn't have a clue. So I thought id post a thread explaining where the amp is located for all VE CAPRICE AND VE CALAIS, and I believe the VE SS aswell.

Note: if this ever happens, it is definately the AMPLIFIER. The amp is located right infront of the rear battery.

I thought id share this to save anyone from any time wasting and headaches, as I had trouble finding the right help.

Regards, Ads

Hey mate, the WM Caprice amplifier is kept in the boot, left hand side, next to the battery. If you remove the inspection cover in the boot you can look inside and you'll see a black box with 3 plugs in it (Black plug, Green and another Black plug)

If your factory amp is busted, id suggest replace it with an aftermarket one
