VE SV6 ute
Hey mate, the VS has the old ecotech, think its 155kw, the VE alloytec comes with the 195kw motor. Something like 10-20nm of torque difference as well.

Apart from that the VE is safer, comes with ESP, has a better drivetrain, handling etc.

kuzman89: I think you misread it wrong...he means Crewman Storm (which would be a VZ) vs VE SV6. ;)

Personally...it all comes down to what you need. The Crewman can seat 5 adults, just the same as a Commodore sedan/wagon (but with less legroom), but the VE is a newer car that is (IMHO) a much better drive, and has a bigger tray than the Crewman, being a single cab.

VE SV6 Ute
  • Alloytech 3.6 litre, 195kw engine
  • Single Cab (2 seats)
  • ESP
  • Newer Car

VZ Crewman Storm Ute
  • Alloytech 3.6 litre, 195kw engine
  • Double/Dual Cab (or whatever they call it) seats 5 Adults
  • Older car, older model, less safety features and new gadgets than VE

Basically the Crewman is just a squashed Sedan with a Tray on the back

crewmans were only fitted with the 175/172kw 320nm torque alloytecs and 4sp autos or 6sp manual,

crewmans were also built on tonner lwb platform

sv6 ute is 5sp auto or 6sp manual and 195kw and 340nm torque
