Yeah, I've been having the same debate for weeks. It's a tough one. As much as I wanted an GTS I settled on an MS, mainly due to it being the best performance Holden ever and limited build numbers. I'd have to go to a W1 in HSV using the same approach. I think the SE's will depreciate far less than a GTS in the early years. I think they'll continue to be sought after and hard to get. I may be wrong, time will tell.
My plan now, is to buy a good used 2017 GTS in the future. They'll still be around in reasonable numbers.
Oh and my dealer put me off when he said I'd be looking at $110k on road for a 2017 GTS.

For anyone still looking, Hunter Holden have 1 Motorsport left in auto for $70k. Side note- the rest of thier allocation sold out quickly , said they only got 1 Director which was 'spoken for' last year.

Problem with Silver (Nitrate) in the Holden/HSV is the bumpers don't match the body, this has been a complaint for a long time. Seems Black or white is the pick for Director, admittedly you won't notice roof on black car

The bumpers mach the body very well on my Nitrate MY16 Redline, very difficult to see any difference so you need a good imagination. What doesn't match is the fuel filler cover. Significantly darker than the body.

Just looking at this pic again got me thinking... Under certain lighting conditions such as in this photo, SOAG appears bronze/brown. Reminds me of the VE Evoke colour.
