    Hi

Actually I received mine before I took delivery and then several weeks after delivery and the pictures were the same each time.

I received the email with the photos 3 days after the actual build date and a week later after receiving the email I picked up the MSE.

MSE in Nitrate. Picked it up a few days back, gave it a brief run in of 50km city driving before heading home. Out here, on the open roads with few others around, it really shines. This is the best all-round family car, grand tourer, dirt-trackin', grocery gettin', hotrod Holden has produced. All of you who have driven one know what I'm saying. Set the MRC to track (seems best even on rough and bumpy country roads), enable the paddles (auto in my case), open the driver's window, and do what the MSE was designed to do.
I won't be selling this one.

    Director
    Hi all,
New to the forum here but would just like to know if there are others out there still to take delivery of their limited editions?
My director was supposedly completed mid August and the latest advice received yesterday is delivery scheduled for 23rd Oct - after the manufacturing closure. It's still sitting at Elizabeth!
I know there was a trim moulding issue - only from reading this forum - but surely that's long resolved?

Only 9 sleeps to go! Once you get in it and drive you will feel the wait was worthwhile, I am sure. It took a while to clear the backlog after the BSM issue was discovered and resolved.
SILVER LINING: Delivery this month should qualify you for the 7 year warranty (in AU) or 3 yearr free servicing (in NZ) that earlier deliveries didn't.

Look great! What tint did you go with and has your director been lowered at all?

I'm surprised how good the Nitrate looks with the red accents.

It's not a colour scheme I would have gone for until I saw this.

    Hi

I used 18% carbon tint from Suntech USA. My car has not been lowered "YET". I think I am going to be the silly goose and potentially purchase a Walkinshaw kit when they do release one for these vehicles but won't fit it till the car is out of warranty.

    Regards,

    Hi

Exactly what I was thinking, the Nitrate Silver MSE looks the goods. Can't wait to see pictures of a Nitrate Silver Director.

    Hi all

I know it sounds dumb, but does anyone know if the rear brake disks on a Director are larger than the front brake disks?

    Hi

Well I must be showing my age, I always thought the fronts should be larger than the rears.
