A dealer quoted me $80,000 for a MSE manual & $72,000 for redline manual.
Would anyone buy one of these cars at that price?

Now the dust has settled, and looking at my Contract to Purchase, the Luxury Car Tax of $945 is a bitter sweet pill to swallow.

From memory it was brought in (1/7/2000?) to protect the locally manufactured cars against the more expensive European models?

Well I would have thought the b@stards on capital hill may done away with this now since they don't have a local motor manufacturing industry left to protect.
