Supercharging has obvious merit; having owned a Boss 335, I'm sold. However, one reason (amongst several) why I went for the MSE instead of an LSA was for the unbeatable note of an atmo V8. And, as you all know, the LS3 note is right up there. Nonetheless, some kind of power enhancement seems appropriate given that I won't be selling the MSE (unless I bomb out big time at the weekly poker and booze night with the gents), so that the investment potential of my MSE is effectively zero. Having driven/heard what Walkinshaw can do with an exhaust and bumpstick, and listening to the GLA/DRE exhaust comparo video (deserves an Emmy) multiple times like the rest of you, I am thinking to retain Earth's atmosphere as the manifold pressure source and adding an OTR/exhaust/proper cam (with appropriate ECU adjustment)....let the good times roll.

 

Looks great, bloody fantastic actually, Dr E Mse. As for the stone chips, let's call 'em battle scars. I love what you're doing. The pair of us may end up with chipped, scratched, and worn MSEs, but given they won't be for sale, who cares?

There’s a nitrate MSE at Metro Holden for sale, saw it today when I went to chuck a deposit on the Director. The silver MSE looks tough as

 

City Holden has 5, 3 phantom ,red and one white.

 

I live 2 streets away from City Holden and only ever saw a black one there. I was there Last week looking at a Senator Signature and didn’t see any MSE’s

 

Parked well away as been in stock for ages, did have 6. Asking 5k above South gate so not selling
