Any reported problems with the Magnums guys? thinking about getting in on the act thanks
No problems with mine after 32,000kms.
No problems with mine after 1600 klms LOL!
Stone the Flamin' Crows, I'd hope not LOL ! (Ausy As)
you get your rockers arms done on recall? My injectors just gave up on my sept 17 SS at about 36,000kms and started running real rough one day and perfect the next. you should ask your dealer to do them. Bosch has a bad batch. Give them your VIN and they will let you know if your car is affected
The rockers were replaced 2 weeks after I took delivery.
Mine was also built in Sept 17.... Might visit the dealer next week about the injectors.
this the correct hard lid? looks like early VE and had no stickers on it
Ours is the 3piece/sportsbar but otherwise the same as that...on both our VE2 & VF2.
another sept 17 car here obviously not a LE
ive only done 10,000km so far no real issues
yep my rockers were replaced at the 1 month "service" despite being told on day of purchase all stock had already had the recall done.
cars should not be able to leave the lot if there is an outstanding recall, disgraceful.
The Magnum should have the slim line hard lid fitted, with decals.
The rockers weren't available before I took delivery...
Really like my amcat hard lid except its not central (so annoying) and has fibreglass riples.
does anyone know what happened to them?

32,000 - it's good to see someone understands the value of enjoying their collectable cars.
As Imoengnr said the Magnum usually comes with the slim line lid.
All the images from a quick look on Google also show the same except for the Ute with the same plates as shown in your photo.
It would be interesting to hear what the Dealership has to say about the difference.
just at a guess id say it optioned by whoever put the 2000km on it.
Hi all, it's been a while. Thought I'd share this shot of the factory cast manifolds of my MSE. It really shows how restrictive they are at the head / port interface. See the black ring which is at 90° to gas flow and about 7mm at the widest section. The HSV 340 headers with stock cats and a tune yielded 31rwkw and 80nm (~280rwkw and 530rwnm). It goes substantially better. In Performance mode it fishtails into second from a rolling start. 0-100 is noticably quicker and in gear rolling acceration is very noticably improved. All up cost including parts was $1,701. If my Redline experience is anything to go by, I expect to pick up around another ~25rwkw after fitting the hiflow cats and a retune (no extra cost for this). Very happy with the results.
Yeah looks pretty restrictive ..
With HSV 340 headers, do they bolt on in place of stock extractors ? i.e. do they bolt on to stock cats ?
No. You have to use the HSV cats. Then it's a straight bolt up.
I Should've done the search first
I am guessing that O2 sensor fits HSV system...
Yeah mate, they fit.
