do it. That's not a bad price. They normally go through pedders. In a ute, just springs will be fine. Can get a little bouncy for back seat passengers, but obviously not a drama with a ute.

yer i thought it was a decent price, spoke to the bloke on the phone said they do it at the dealer, and they stiffen up the ride alot more on utes due to the bounce

Got mine done through the dealer and they used Walkinshaw to do it. I had to pay $650 an couldn't really complain.

That's a good price fitted. Go for it.

Make sure it includes a professional wheel alignment.

    Cheers.

Sounds like a good deal, does anyone know if you can only get this done on new purchase or can you take your car in at a later date also to keep warrenty etc

Depends on your dealer - Suttons will do it.

    It is.

Get yourself a good metal tint - shouldn't cost you more than $250 for a ute - even that is pushing it. Can't remember what I paid - I'm thinking around $220

Metal tint means the tint is.. well tinted.. using metal, essentially as opposed to a dye (which can fade). Leaves a more reflective finish (which some people don't like) but will never fade and is better at keeping head and UV light out.

    looks like this...

It's similar to mirror tint, but not as reflective or chrome-looking. The reflection has a black base if you know what I mean. The tint levels are the same as dye from the inside. (mine is darker than it should be though)

Mine is 15% metal tint from Tint Wizard. Love it. Looks great - keeps the car cool (metal tint is easier to see through at night) - but would I do it again? Probably not. You CAN be defected for it, or worse, have an insurance claim disallowed. I think 35% is legal from memory. Might be 25%. Not sure.
