Holden IQ VE Series II

Hi.

I want to replace my speakers and add a sub on my Holden 2011 VE Series II.

However by doing that my Holden IQ Headunit warranty will be void, correct ?

What are the chances of the Holden IQ Headunit to actually stuff up?

Is their another method to change the speakers and not void the warranty ?

I'm not aure about warrenty but all you do is splice through the speaker wires and hook it up to a LOC so you can run an external amp to power a subwoofer.

Alot of people have changed the OS of their Series 2 HU, so if anything does #### up, you can change the whole OS to something better.

Your in Melbourne too, there is a company there that specialise in modding the Series 2 HU.

To get better functions out of it. They program it to watch TV, better maps etc.

Yeah they get into that sort of thing.

Not sure if it's the one you were thinking of though...

For example, they changed the screen colour in my VE h/u from red to blue by programming it.

About $100.

Probably a rip off for what's probably 5 minutes' work. But worth it for the end result IMO.
