Holden LS2 test mule?

Got a call from a mate yesterday who spotted what looked like the new CV8Z Monaro in Belgrave. Except this wasn't it. It was the CV8Z shape finished in Fusion but it was left hand drive, had no badges on it, and the bonnet was missing the twin rams. It also had the EEV sticker plastered on the back bumper. He said it had what looked like Pontiac GTO rims but the centre badges on the rims were removed. Exhaust setup was the same as the CV8Z too. Don't know what Holden are up to with this.. Anyone else seen this car?

Probably a gto that was imported here and has been modified by the owner?

couldn't be a gto import as it had the holden Engineering Evaluation Vehicle(EEV) sticker stuck on the rear bumper.
