Just saw an Ad for this and found a link on another post: http://www.holdencampaign.com.au/ownersgrantvalues/. Seems pretty decent but unsure how it works...

EDIT: Actually, maybe not, on holden's website theyre inviting people to contact their dealer to find out more info about it. Apparently its basically a price drop in some models??

no where in the disclaimer does it say its an April Fools or that the offer is invalid.

additionally, HOLDEN (in their right mind) wouldn't spend $$$$ on a TV Ad if it was just a April Fool's joke! atleast not in the current climate...IMO

lol, that's a really "sneaky marketing" way of saying "we're making everything cheap because we can't sell stuff".

Dunno about sneaky, I see everything in the world how it is. So the Holden add comes on and says

Hi, here at Holden made this really big fat car at a time when no sane person will buy such a car, so were are in a bit of trouble. There's thousands of them laying all around the factory and we have to get rid of them before they rust or have to be sold second hand so how about we flog them off at near cost price, would you buy one then?, please???

They should also throw in a lot of gear...to make things more appealing. I prefer buying a more 'optioned' vehicle for say 33k than the basic car for 2k less. thats just IMO though
