Hi all just wondering if you could give me some advice.

I have a car and I'm looking to trade in with another guy. He has priced his vehicle at $22,990 and can be found here for more info:

Find used cars and new cars online - CarPoint Australia

Here is our car's info:

1 Lady owner (My Mum)
It's a 2004 Holden VY Equipe Series II
It was a Fleet Car all Km's are country Km's
It's got 116,000Km on the Odo
Will be detailed interior and exterior before purchase so will be like new
Full service history no accidents or repairs ever

Just wondering what we should be looking for, is he asking too much? Really what I'm trying to asses is what difference should we be paying?

Doing this on mum's behalf...
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks guys

your car is only worth 10-12k at best so youll be looking at 10-13k his way plus all the transfer fees etc.
FWIW, i wouldnt be paying that much for his car either.

Mazda 2 or 3??? It's a Holden Astra if you look at the advert...

I understand that what he's looking for is quite a bit, that's why i'm asking realistically what should he be asking and what should I be asking?

That way we can sort out a fair difference..
