Hi Guys,
Sorry but I'm probably going to ask a few noob questions...
My Current setup I have Holden VE SV6 with SSV headunit with the following gear
1 x Orion XTR62 Spits 120W Max, 60 RMS (front speakers)
1 x Orion XRT602 100W, 50 RMS (back door speakers)
Speakers powered by Clarion APX 4241 4 CH 400W
FYI the speakers sound pretty awesome
1 x Pioneer TS-W3003R 12" Sub 1,200W Max / 250W Normal input power
Sub powered by Clarion APX2121 2CH 200W - Channels bridged.
I've been told that my sub is underpowered.. by the stats it clearly looks that way!
My questions is .. will i gain a worth while difference from the sub if i get a more powerful amp .. if so how powerful does the amp actually have to be?
Also I have access to a Soundstorm 4 CH 1,200 W amp (unknown model) if i dedicated 2CH bridged to the Sub which would give me a potential 600W and the other 2 Channels for the front and back speakers .. but would I have any issues running from and back speakers from the same channel when have different wattage ratings? Or would I have to get back speakers the same rating as the front to work affectively?
Thanks for your responses in advanced!
Kyle
