it dose it most of the time 3,500 to 4 but it will never go over 4,000 and in top gear it dose it at 2,000 i change the plugs fuel filter
i dnt flog it just seen wat it would do and it did that and it alaway dose it at 100 at 2,000 na just put a pod fiter on
start with the basics, plugs (done), leads? (test with a multi meter), fuel pump? (see if you can get someone to check it's pressure), faulty fuel pressure reg?. alternatively try running a tank of e10 or 95-98 octane in it with a bottle of injector cleaner through it, as it's a vn it's pointless to run it on that stuff all the time.
I had this problem. Check to see if the vacuum lines, specifically the one from your map sensor is cracked, if so replace it. The ends of mine were cracked so i took 7 odd mm off each end and the car ran fine after that.

As above, please get a good service manual. Most have detailed pictures and diagrams and with tthe flick of a few pages you can have all the answers you need without copping flak from randoms for your lack of teh typing skillz. MAP sensor is on the fire wall on the passenger side, go go gadget google pics...... TA DA!
