just wondering cause I’ve just bought a vz Calais I’ve gotten a couple different things pop up on the dash when I start the car “ rear brake bulb fail” but the lights work fine “check power train” I’m not sure what that is and “SRS airbag fail” any ideas on what the power train is and how to fix it and wondering how hard it is to change a injector on an alloytec

Probley scan it with a tech 2 scan tool to get codes to see about the power train warning and SRS, not sure about brake bulb fail if the bulbs are fine tho.

Brake Light fault could be either -
  • LED Globes installed - [load resistor required]
  • Wrong Globe Wattage - [Globes should be 21/5 watt, with offset pins]
  • Resistive Contacts - [In the Globe Socket]
  • Water in a Trailer Plug - [causing a chemical resistance]
  • Check the Voltage at both sockets.

Injectors replacement is fairly straight forward, careful not to lose the connector clip.

Process of elimination.
