Hi. Anyone knows how much mileage (assuming one drives decently) the brake pads and rotors on a ZB (non V6) would last? What OEM brands (and parts number pls) that is compatible with the stock pads/rotors? I am finding it difficult to find the relevant parts. Thanks.

Maybe contact a dealer and ask for the gm part numbers.

There isn't any aftermarket options localy but in the US and Europe there are plenty. I doubt I will ever need to replace by brakes while I own the car but if I do I will just go genuine. I have a Calais V tourer with 44k on the clock and the brakes still have at least 80% as most of my driving is freeway.

Hi

I was checking Brembo and they might have a disc pads that fit the front of the ZBs.

Auto Superstore is selling it for $88. Can someone verify whether these are compatible? Thanks.

looking at their site they have a "fitment guarantee" so if you use their parts finder on their site and it gives you that part then it fits or your money back, this is also law but we dont need to get into that.

you could also ring them to confirm the parts fit too

Looks like there are a few companies getting in and supporting the ZB now. When I looked a while ago there was no support at all.
I can confirm the numbers listed on the brembo site will fit a V6 AWD wagon
P07 007 front 321mm disc the same number with N at the end is a low dust option
P59 097 rear 315mm disc

DBA also have listing's for both the different brake sizes
DB15020 front 300mm disc 1 alternate compound
DB15017 front 321mm disc 2 alternate compounds

DB15018 rear 288mm disc 1 alternate compound
DB15019 rear 315mm disc 2 alternate compounds

I think the Diesel runs the larger 321mm front rotor but retains the smaller 288 rear the 2.0 petrol wagons I believe use the larger rear disc.

Yes. You got it right. Someone summarised the wheel sizes before and I am reappending.

Changing pads soon. Front pads I got from automotive superstore. Rear pads from Trodo.com. TRW. Total about A$110 inclusive of $30 for DHL courier (4 days to get here - notbad).

Hopefully someone does a guide when they replace theirs cause I've heard the ebreak and servicing them can be a pita/need to adjust the electric break after changing pads
