:rolleyes:I am a Christian and I hope all expired Holden's go to Heaven.....protected with fire proof paint (they have to go to a holding bay called "Purgatory" before being admitted....(some will bypass the holding bay if they have been driven by a little old lady driving to church on Sunday):)…..in heaven they will be fuelled with Vegemite….and driven by Koala Bears.....and on the 1st of November ( all Saints Day ) each year we will remember them!:(

I'd like to see an Australian company buy the name and logo just to keep it in local ownership. The name is, after all, Aussie in origin. Then, perhaps a few years into the future, it could rise again as an EV manufacturer, built, designed and owned by an Australian company. The first model could be called Phoenix.

Agreed, but as I stated in an earlier post, I doubt that the Holden name has sufficient international recognition to interest any foreign buyer, even a Chinese one.
