VS L67 Ute, VX SS
hi guys, im trying to work a few things out with a project im working on.
In short im putting a L67 motor and box into my ute
If i add a few things like manifold spacers it will stick through the bonnet (which is fine with me) I intend to use a reverse cowl scoop.

Cutting a hole will involve cutting the supports
Do the supports need a plate to be welded into seal the gap?
Do i need to add new supports to the bonnet?

Oh, im in NSW if the laws are different in other places

More cars than I've got space to park!
As far as I know NSW is still technically using the old LVCOP but the RMS these days will direct you to the NCOP for any information on modifications.

The section that will answer your questions is "NCOP6 Section LH Body Modifications" available for download here:

https://infrastructure.gov.au/vehicles/vehicle_regulation/bulletin/vsb_ncop.aspx

And the specific section you're after is this:

I know people that have gotten around this in later gen Commodores by using k-frame spacers. Are you intercooling it? I thought the spacers alone wouldn't cause it to foul.
