I think commo has been a little harsh with this guy. He would have come across a little better if he had offered some advice with the derision, but que sera sera. I can certainly see why the OP raised his hackles a little .. ask him for pix in a month commo, not every day. Give the kid time to mess it up properly.

However, commo hasnt mentioned anything about his spray job because he hasnt announced his intention to do so, so I cant see you getting any pix of the spray job he isnt planning to do.

The OP has told us of his intentions though, mentioning a specialist paint and announcing his intention to spray it. When given good advice, he tried to make himself a hero by telling us he knew what he was doing, which turned out untrue.

I am personally happy to share what little knowledge I have, but it gets annoying when you offer advice based on what someone claims to know, then their responses show you have wasted your time.

I can't speak for others but I have offered him good advice, and some step by step hints, but he has barely bothered to acknowledge me.

Thanks mate I know how to out bog in an Sand it out I've done alot of spraying aswell as I work at a fiberglassing join. And yes I will be using a primer for sure and I'm using a clear coat awell. Could you give me some info on how many layers I need to do for each step? Thanks for all the help it's really helping me out.

Thats just saying 'I already know what I am doing, but really I dont.'

Hes too busy telling people 'you wait, you'll see' instead of reading properly and asking intelligent questions.

Andrew, ignore the negative comments, admit you need help, and ask intelligent questions on that basis. I for one will be happy to offer what help I can, if a question that can be answered comes up. Calling people idiots isnt going to get you any help, and refusing to accept help is going to make you the idiot... and cause your car to look like crap.

Commo... give the kid a break huh? lol

commoVT: post pics of your spraying?

lol what spray job????? the only spraying iv'e ever attempted by myself on my car is a touch up on the windscreen wipers. Other than that, i can't spray for s**t, and do not intend on trying......
would you like to see a picture of the spray job i did on my windscreen wipers?? it might be abit boring, but if you asked for it..
