Home spray job on my vr commodore

Oh dear, I thought I had made my point clear but apparently not.

My point was there are guys on the forum who give themselves wraps about their cars and their knowledge but rubbish others who want to know how to do things themselves, but the big noters pay professionals to get work done because they can't or won't try to do it themselves.

That doesn't sound like I meant you, does it?

For a guy who admits having little experience with spray painting, that's a pretty fair start. With metallics, matching the existing paint is difficult, even for the professionals when the paint has weathered. Of course, some might disagree.....

Keep going - it will get easier (not necessarily "easy", just "easier") with more experience.

Thanks yeah it's abit of a different colour but I'm getting a new back bumper this weekend and then I'm hopefully spraying the rest of the car. But I've ran out of paint an don't have the code can the paint shops still match the colour pretty good ? I'm hopin they can otherwise it's going to look ****.

Thanks nar not going matt black anymore just going the colour the front bumer and side panels are hopefully it turns out good.
