Nice VP SS and nice burnout. I read the active, yes it makes sence but then again there is always the knobs in POS cars that think their cars are the best thing on the road and end up endangering others. I tend to think the kids that are new to cars are the most dangerous.

I'm glad to see there is someone out there actually taking the time to see this from other people sides of view! As was stated there ARE idiots out there, but i'm glad that not EVERYONE is putting us all in the same basket. It's the same deal with a drug harm minimisation group i was apart of years ago in the rave scene, we were all about harm minimisation and education, as we knew, you will never stop people taking drugs and i don't care how many police are on the streets and how many programs the government set up, there is no way on earth you will ever stop people taking drugs. So what's the next best thing? Educating those who will take drugs so just maybe, they will be alot more careful WHEN taking drugs. If you cant get rid of the problem, then do the next best thing, minimise the harm it will cause.

The same goes for driving, maybe if people are better educated about driving and the dangers of drag racing etc, maybe, just maybe there might be fewer accidents on the road.

It all takes time and sensible planning, not jumping on everyone and bolting laws down. The more rules you put down, the more hot heads there will be out there trying to break them. Give people more places where they can do burnouts and drag race safely and don't charge silly amounts of money to be able to take place in these events.

I think that article was very well written it covered both sides of the story. I think the main message was that not everyone who drives a nice looking car, and whos takes there time to get it how they want is a idiot trying to swing his arse around every corner in the rain.

yeah thats what i thought. they usually jus pinpoint young blokes. iv seen plenty of old blokes gettin round in powerful cars and they dont do nothin to them. see a young bloke they pull them ova. and while they are at it they will search tha car for drugs and alcohol. well they have done it to me plenty of times anyway emptyed tha whole car

no, its a stupid and dangerous picture. stupid if it is done on the streets and dangerous if it is done in a comp. i highly doubt any promotor with 1/4 a brain would let someone run in a burnout comp:

    1. without a helmet
    2. with short sleaves
    3. hanging out of the car while doing it
