horn not working im stumped..

ok so trying to get car ready to be back on road and fixing horn is becomin harder then i thought lol, first i checked why and seen this

its missing that metal slip on one side, so went to wreckers bought new one for 5$ even thought its bit bigger and thread doesnt fit the hole thats already on mine id say i can just bolt anywhere?.
but doesnt matter because still not working once connected, swapped relays over and nothing what could it be??

Test the replacement horn directly on the battery to make sure it works.
If you have checked the fuse/relay I would guess its the clock spring on the steering wheel.

pretty sure it does need to be on but even if it doesnt just do it anyway.

while im on here would you be able to tell me where the f**k my horn is? it doesnt work and i cant find it for the life of me lol

Well not being a smarta*** or anything but you have your steering wheel "buttons" and generally hanging from your rad support (front of it) is the horn or maybe two,
