Sorry to post it in here general had errors on this computer just need some advice on a 2.0ltr holden vectra was told not to bother putting a full sports exhaust system on it was told just to change the rear box but im not sure what would sound best a hotdog or sports rear box Car is 100% standed
I know, but what do you say to someone who asks if its a good idea to cut a perfectly good muffler off? Its not as if its hiding a secret lamborghini V12 note or something...
I would ask them what they want out of the exhaust. Personally I've never heard a vectra with anything done to the exhaust. I just know that with my brothers car (1.8 lancer, yes I know, not the same but it's a 4 pot none the less) he had a 'sports' muffler thrown on the back and it sounded terrible, then I recommended a straight bit of pipe instead and it sounds much better now.
Anything with less than 8 cylinders should be quiet. With the exception of the odd V6 with a VERY slight exhaust note that sounds OK
well its only for the misses car doesnt matter all to much as long as she likes it i guess lol so to sum it up Dog or Box?
well heres one on youtube its got: Hi Flow cat, 2.25" piping, small resonator and a straight through muffler YouTube - Vectra B 2.2 (c22sel) Exhaust Sound
