just wondering the process u have 2 go through when u have 2 post an item say another state etc: what will i have 2 do bring the object 2 the post office? once rapped do i just hand it over 2 the post office etc cheers any help needed
Yep,package it in the correct box or envelope,then hand it to whose at the counter at the post office,they will weigh it,u pay the cost depending on weight and where to,thats all,they`ll do it.
so do i get my own box stick it in there then give them the address and they will send it anywhere sweett
im not sure if you can use your own box,ive always bought one,but i cant see to much of a problem with it,you still need to write on the box where your posting it to,then they`ll weigh it,then pay your fee,they should keep it behind their counter till the postage mob turn up to take it.
Pretty much.... Stick the address really big on it,.... and your details clearly marked sender, but nice and small... I once had my address in sixe 14 print out, and I paid to get it sent to myself :S If your using old boxes, grab some brown paper from a news agent and wrap it up in that aswell.. Auspost dont like Beer boxes haha.
also everytime i went to post a parcel,they asked me what i was posting,theres also a chance you`ll have to sign the box,if they put a sticker on it,just for you to agree theres nothing flamable inside,but yeah its simple as explaned above.
